Every 2 seconds, someone needs blood. In Cameroon, many of them never get it.
E Life Saver is a Cameroonian health-tech platform that connects blood donors with patients in real time through our mobile application. When a patient arrives at a hospital and urgently needs blood, our app sends an instant push notification to nearby registered donors β saving precious time and saving lives.
This June 14, World Blood Donor Day, we are taking it further.
We are organizing two community blood donation drives across two cities in Cameroon:
π©Έ Bamenda β Bamenda Regional Hospital | June 13β14, 2026
π©Έ Buea β June 19β20, 2026
Our goal is to collect blood from at least 100 donors across both cities, onboard every participant onto the E Life Saver app, and offer free genotype screening so donors leave knowing more about their own health.
What your donation funds:
β Branded T-shirts and appreciation gifts for donors
β Food and refreshments on donation days
β Transport support for donors who need it
β Volunteer coordination and identification materials
β Genotype reagents and screening costs
β Community sensitization campaigns (online and offline)
β Micro-influencer and digital advertising to drive turnout
Why it matters:
Blood cannot be manufactured. It can only come from people who choose to give. In communities where awareness is low and access to health information is limited, showing up takes courage β and we want to reward that courage and make the experience as welcoming as possible.
Every cedi, franc, or dollar you contribute directly funds a safer, more connected blood supply in Cameroon.
π± Download the E Life Saver app and register as a donor today β because financial giving isn't the only way to help.
